The Bake Returns: After 4 months of musical adventure the Bakers return to Brighton to serve up some more wholesome parties. Starting back by celerbrating our 1st birthday with an event that could be straight out of early 70's New Orleans, two of Brighton's hottest Funk bands topped off with a DJ set from Paul T (Breakin Bread, Colour Climax) & the master bakers on the 1's & 2's! The Bake will also be expanding its musical boundaries bringing in the Top ModFunk and Latin Soul bands from all around the Country. more details on the events page.

The Bake returns to the Pressure Point on 14th July so scribble that date in your diary if preparation for more funked up behaviour.

Details of the full March Bake line up are on the events page. Also the bakery is a hive of activity at the moment as we scheme and plot (wholesomely of course) into '06. After the March Bake we're shutting up shop temporarily while BDM tour Germany and the Bakers start work on tasty new treats for everyone, more info on that very soon. We return in July to celebrate The Bake's first birthday ! and the launch of The Bake as a Bi-Monthly affair. See you all on the 17th March.

We have just received final confirmation of a very special guest who will be swelling the ranks of the Poets when they grace the bake next weekend. We are very excited to let you know that guitarist/violinist Chris Karrer from the legendary German band Amon Duul is joining the line-up, and to say we're excited is a huge understatement ! How good were The Baker Brothers ? Expect to see them at the bake again, if only for the Benny Hill ending ! A big thanks to everyone who made August a quality bake. Ever onwards though the details for the September Bake are up on the events page, so wander over there and take a gander.

The fourth wholesome Bake instalment is this Friday and we hope to see you there getting freaky like you have been at previous events. Thanks to everyone who’s made the night so successful so far and with you help it can only get better. Watch out for the August bake featuring The Baker Brothers. The flyers for that will be coming to a shop, website or street near you very soon. Also keep an eye out for the rather tasty Jackfly clothing range in Flawless and ZeroCulture. Well the summer has arrrived. How long it stays remains to be seen. Thanks to everyone that made it down to June event this weekend just gone. 01.02.05 | We've got a bun in the oven

The date, place and time for the The Bake Launch is now set. We will open the oven doors for consumption in Mid April 2005 at the Pressure Point (Brighton) and were all very excited here at the bakery. The line up and further information can be found here. Expect to see flyers and posters making an appearance online soon and in the public eye nearer the time. Till then stay wholesome.
